Educational goal After this course the participant is familiar with the Shoulder Symptom Modification Procedure, a well structured physiotherapeutic diagnostic and treatment strategy, based on the latest scientific insights, and can apply this procedure in the analysis and treatment of patients with complaints about their shoulder.

Teaching method Lectures, cases, demonstrations, and training of practical skills
Lecturer Jeremy Lewis, PhD, Consultant Physiotherapist at St George’s Hospital in London, UK. Jeremy Lewis is also the Research Lead for the Therapy Department at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London, and Visiting Professor of Physical Therapy at the University of Haifa. His main research interest is the rotator cuff and he’s currently involved in clinical, laboratory and cadaver research in this field. He also has a Master of Science in Manipulative Physiotherapy, and Postgraduate Diplomas in Sports Physiotherapy, and in Biomechanics. He has also completed MSc modules in injection therapy for soft tissues and joints. Since 1992, Jeremy has taught and lectured internationally in the UK, Ireland, USA, Europe, the Middle East, South Africa, and the Cayman Islands.
